Ram Sevak baral

Falooda here is tasty, this is what regular visitors of this restaurant note. It's a light crispy papadam with grated onions, garlic, tomatoes, cilantro and chili powder–just like a great Mexican fix if you can't find a Mexican restaurant. This inexpensive restaurant is highly recommended for vegetarians and vegans. One Vrindavan Restaurant of my favorite experiences in Bahrain was going to Vrindavan vegetarian restaurant right after attending Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church which is next door to the restaurant. Menus are in english, they don't explain what the food is but you can ask.

  • There is a quiet ambiance and terrific decor at this restaurant.
  • I have mentioned only the restaurants that don’t use onion and garlic as Vaishnavas avoid these two ingredients from their prasad (food).
  • Famed as Krishna’s playground, Vrindavan has my heart and tummy through streets dotted by ancient kitchens retaining recipes passed down for generations urging foodies to come indulge.

Chana Masala

Alu Tikki Chat, Masala Dosa, Lassi, Chaas, Golgappe, Vada etc. are some of the must-have food here. Just as you step out of Banke Bihari Mandir into the narrow lanes, there are a lot of local shops with super amazing street food. This is located on the second floor of MVT Guesthouse (behind ISKCON temple) and food here is really nice and healthy. Even in Mumbai (which is considered as the most expensive city in India) at prominent malls and expensive localities, you will find food cheaper than this. The food here is above average with some of the menu being super awesome, but to be very frank and honest, Govinda's is extremely over-priced.
